Jessica Roseman, LMT

About

Jessica Roseman is a movement educator, massage therapist, a choreographer, and a mother. With a passion for movement, therapeutic touch, and healing, she has found an ideal synergy in the GYROTONIC® Method.

Therapeutic Massage & Feldenkrais®: Over the years, Jess has been certified as a personal trainer, fitness instructor, and Feldenkrais Practitioner. She became licensed in therapeutic massage at Miami’s Educating Hands in 1997, where she started teaching movement modalities and working in the school’s professional clinic. She completed training in Neuromuscular Therapy with Judy DeLany, and, more recently, again with Precision Neuromuscular Therapy. She has worked with physical therapists, physicians, and chiropractors to aid in patient recovery plans.  She has taught therapeutic massage techniques and movement modalities for massage therapists and has specialized in treating performing artists with injuries. Jess has completed training in the Feldenkrais Method with Dennis Leri in 1999 and has taught Awareness Through Movement for older populations, dancers, athletes, and yoga students. Dance: Jess integrates her wellness modalities in her interdisciplinary artwork as a solo performing artist.  Her multiyear social change arts project, NOURISH, invites deep physical connection to ourselves, each other, and our environment. NOURISH has earned numerous social justice grant awards, offering participatory dance engagements as a social service. A New England States Touring Artist, Jessica performs, teaches, mentors, and lectures about her dance work internationally.
