About
Hello, I am Charlotte.
I discovered the GYROTONIC® Method in 2009, while I was dancing professionally and recovering from a back hernia. At that moment my body needed more than just exercises. I needed a way back to freedom, elegance and joy. GYROTONIC® gave me exactly that. It felt like returning home to my own body.
After years on stage, touring internationally as a professional dancer, I chose to root this experience in my hometown, Aix en Provence. Today I teach the GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS® Methods in French, English and Italian and I guide both movers and teachers to find more space, strength and flow inside themselves.
I am a GYROTONIC® Master Trainer, Jumping Stretching Board Master Trainer and Pre Trainer in GYROKINESIS®. I love transmitting the work at every level, from the very first discovery session to advanced teacher trainings. My intention is always the same: to make the method feel clear, embodied and deeply alive so that you can share it with confidence in your own practice, your studio and your community.
In 2013, I founded GYROTONIC® Aix en Provence, a studio nestled in a historic bastide in the heart of Provence. It is a place for practice, transformation and also connection. Here we offer regular classes on the Pulley Tower and Jumping Stretching Board, specialized workshops and professional teacher trainings for those who wish to go further.
My way of teaching has been shaped by extraordinary mentors such as Lucrezia Caricola, Debra Rose, Ferdinando Gagliardi, Anke Hauerstein, Regula Gadient Perfetti, Adrianna Thompson, Valeria Paes Mauriz, Paul Horvath and many others, as well as the direct teachings of Juliu Horvath and the wider community of Master Trainers. From each of them I have received something precious: clarity, structure, biomechanics, energy work, creativity, and a deep respect for every body that comes to the studio.
I am not a mix of all these teachers. I am myself.
A former ballerina, in love with detail and musicality, who brings this stage experience into each session. I teach with warmth, precision, and presence, so that you feel seen, guided and supported. I want you to leave the studio taller in your spine, softer in your joints and more anchored in who you are.Whether I welcome you to a teacher training or to a studio class, my wish is that you feel both empowered and nurtured. That you leave with tools you can immediately use in your own work and with a renewed sense of connection to your body, your breath and your life.
I am a forever learner and I continue to train, question and refine my teaching so that I can pass on the most authentic, accurate and joyful expression of this methodology.
I look forward to welcoming you to the studio and to sharing this beautiful journey with you, here in the heart of Provence.
