Leslie has been practicing the GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS® methods for over twelve years. She is a certified Gyrotonic and Gyrokinesis trainer as well as an authorized PreTrainer in both methods. She was certified to teach in New York at Kinespirit Studios in 2012 and has trained under master trainers Chantal Deeble Jackson, Jen Daly, Miriam Barbosa, Julie Cordier and Lisa Marie Goodwin. She taught for Kinespirit Studios until 2014 when she relocated to Cincinnati, Ohio and continued her teaching practice at BodyMind Balance. In 2017, Leslie relocated again to Carmel, Indiana where she currently teaches both GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS® classes.
Leslie has a background in ballet and modern dance which she studied from a young age at the Baltimore Ballet, Peabody Preparatory School, North Carolina School for the Arts, Joffrey Ballet and Steps on Broadway. She was a competitive ballroom dancer from 2007-2019 and teaches ballroom dance lessons addition to her GYROTONIC® teaching practice.
