It has been researched 90% of people have some degree of scoliosis, from mild, non visible to more pronounced, progressive severe scoliosis, that has been measured by a medical professional, the severity is measured by the degree of the curve. While mild scoliosis may not cause any noticeable symptoms, severe scoliosis can bring pain, breathing difficulties and possibly other health issues.
This is the final course of Paul Horvath's three fundamental courses available for all certified Gyrotonic teachers. To be able to attend this course, please make note, the student must have completed the first two course, that being, Gyrotonic Applications for the Pelvic Girdle and Gyrotonic Applications for the Shoulder Girdle in that order.. One can then register for Gyrotonic Applications for Scoliosis Course which focuses on the spine and brings together and completes the first two courses giving the gyrotonic teacher a deeper understanding of the gyrotonic principles and how to apply them to clients with various physical needs.
