About
Smadar Goshen is a choreographer, dancer, a certified Gaga teacher and a Gyrotonic & Gyrokinesis Pre-trainer. She completed her B.A in dance and M.A in choreography at the Jerusalem Academy for Music and Dance.She has been teaching Gyrotonic since 2009, and Gyrokinesis since 2014. In 2015 she became a certified Pre-trainer for both methods and she has been teaching a few courses a year since then.Since 2011 her pieces are performed on various platforms worldwide. In the yearbook of magazine tanz 2023, Goshen was honoured as one of the 10 promising dance pioneers in Germany. She is currently the representative choreographer of Theater Freiburg’s dance department as part of the Réseau GRAND LUXE network. For 2024-2026 she is supported by the state capital Stuttgart and the Landesverband Freie Tanz-und Theaterschaffende Baden-Wuerttemberg.
