My name is Vincent "Vinny" Alayo I have been a professional Choreographer & Freestyle Street Dancer for 15 years. I found the GYROTONIC method after numerous un-healable injuries and it has changed the way I move, breathe and think about how I develop and perform movement forever. I truly believe that this method unlocks a part of the body that no other modality has truly discovered in terms of potential of the human body. In one of my mainly trained dances we specialize in isolated joint and muscle contractions to develop visual illusions and textures that correspond directly to the music being heard, with rhythm through spirals, circles and waves. I bring this unique background to the world of Gyrotonic as a great compliment to the method and insight to see how people are able to move and do what ever it is they imagine.
