About

Rachel was originally introduced to the GYROTONIC® method as a cross-training practice for dance and to manage back pain from scoliosis. While in high school she began her GYROTONIC® training in Boston under the direction of Adriana Suarez and Gianni Di Marco. She was soon captivated by the method for its ability to both stretch and strengthen while doing so in a mindful manner. She noticed a decrease in back pain and a positive shift in her dancing. Rachel is currently a GYROTONIC® instructor based in NYC. She believes exercise should be a celebration of the body and the strength of the mind. Rachel strives to create a supportive and inviting environment for her clients to help them reach their wellness goals. She has been practicing this method for nearly 6 years and is excited to begin guiding others.

Rachel holds a BFA in Dance and Certificate in Arts Management from the Univeristy of Massachussets Amherst and most recently completed the Dance Training + Arts Management internship with the Jose Limón Dance Foundation.
