Michelle Nayeli Bouvier (Michelle Bouvier)

About

Michelle Nayeli Bouvier, B.S., E-RYT, C-IAYT is a GYROTONIC® Trainer, Prana Vinyasa™ Yoga Teacher Trainer, Certified Yoga Therapist, student of the Axis Syllabus, Hoopdance pioneer, sustainable movement educator and ecologist devoted to sharing the power of embodiment as a tool of bodymind resilience.

Fascinated by the merging of modern science & ancient wisdom, Michelle used to think she’d teach yoga to ecologists in the field, because ‘yoga teacher’ wasn’t a career path at the time!

Grateful for her many teachers, Michelle has been most influenced by her depth of training with Shiva Rea, Tias Little, John Friend, & Tim Miller (yoga), Christopher Wallis, Christopher Tompkins & Daniel Odier (Tantrik philosophy & practice), Frey Faust, Joanne Avison, Gil Hedley, & Tom Meyers (anatomy & movement science). Michelle continues to be a student of many of these teachers, as well as Ayurveda, Kalaripayattu, and Kettlebell training.

Michelle has been teaching yoga & embodiment for 20+ years, and is the creator of the Kutilaa School of Embodied Resilience, training the next-generation of yoga & movement teachers in cutting-edge curriculum while developing the art & skill of sharing movement meditation as medicine for the body+mind.
