In this course you: Theoretical Aspect

You will learn

  • how to work with someone in pain using the Gyrotonic Principles

  • we will discuss theoretical concepts of what Paul calls the "Biological Unit"

  • what is health, what is disease, what is therapy, what is the emotive system etc. 

  • Basic anatomy of the pelvic girdle and lumbar spine will be explored and discussed. 

  • and have a deeper understanding of the Gyrotonic principles and the Gyrotonic method

Practical Aspect:

  • You will be guided through the practical part of a full 6 part program specifically designed for the pelvic girdle / lumbar spine: a series of building block exercises that you the teacher can use to guide ones client into increasing wellness.

At the end of this course, you will have in your recipe booklet

  • 6 step by step consecutive and complete programs to work with in a one year program to guide someone out of pain into a more vital body.    

As a side note, this course will surely help you better understand the principles of Gyrotonic and a deeper knowledge and increased clarity of the movement technique.

This is the first prerequisite course to take be able to attend the second course Gyrotonic Applications for the Shoulder Girdle Course and then thirdly, once the first two course have been completed one can then register for Gyrotonic Applications for Scoliosis Course

The course is credited as GYROTONIC® Level 1 Update! CEC Teacher Training Course.
