GYROKINESIS® Level 1 Pre-Training Course

In this 30-hour Course you will have the opportunity to understand the level 1 GYROKINESIS® Course syllabus deeply in your own body. You will take the homework sequence home with you, memorized, and you will be able to practice it regularly until the foundation course.
This is a wonderful immersion whether you plan to continue on to teach the method, or for clients who wish to deepen their understanding of their own body and the method.
What a fantastic way to tone up your body just in time for summer, with time for surf breaks and hiking in the beautiful beach town of Seignosse, France.
Classes will be 8am-11am and 2pm-4pm daily.

What is Gyrokinesis exercise?It’s a movement method practiced sitting on a chair, on a mat and standing. Class begins seated with different breathing exercises to center and ground oneself, helping to bring you into the present moment. Strengthening the diaphragms and reinforcing the pelvic floor. Followed by a series of exercises to open up your chest and shoulders while building strength and stability in the lower extremity. Next we move to the floor to lubricate the hips and strengthen back, waist and abdominals. We finish the class standing to functionally integrate the floor and chair work into your daily movement habits. Reinforcing stability in the ankles, knees and hips helps prevent future injury. Gyrokinesis exercise helps to increase coordination by challenging your neuromuscular system with new movement patterns through space.
